About the new Forza Horizon 4 and its compatibility with Windows 10

So I am not a type of guy who buys games online with credit or debit card and I always try getting a physical copy of the game from a local games store or just order it online with a pay on delivery option. So I saw the trailer and gameplay from Forza Horizon 4 and I fell in love with it. I just loved it and started searching for a place to preorder it. And I saw that there is not a physical copy of the game for PC and that i need to buy it from the Microsoft Store. Later I thought that I can buy the game for Xbox and use the activation code to activate it on Windows, because you now that now you can play Xbox games on your PC with Xbox Live. So I asked at the store if it is possible and they told me that the game comes with only a cd and that It cant run without the cd, so you dont need a activation code and I didnt know if it is true, because I am a PC gamer and I dont have any consoles. He told me that for PC games there are codes, but console games dont need it because they need the cd to play the game. Anyway is this even true and if there actually is a activation code in the box can I activate it on Windows and play the game. If my idea does not work is there another way to buy the game without using my debit card? BTW I live in Bulgaria.

get the xbox play anywhere title I'm pretty sure that comes with a code you redeem on the microsoft store.

No, i just checked. When you click on get disk the play anywhere icon disappears. It only stays when I click on download.

I just found a way to do it. I can get a gift card for 60 dollars and redeem it in the microsoft store when I am from my browser. From the Microsoft Store app it only gives me to pay with a card. So sometime I will just get a gift card and buy the game.
