Hi i’m looking to get the LG 850w 4k HDRish display. So I have a 1070ti which isn’t enough GPU hp to push 4k in everygame. So I am wondering is 1440p on a 4k montior very blurry. I know it’s not as good as native but how bad is it?

I am getting a 4k monitor for media and ps4 pro gaming too. So a 1440p isn’t really ideal. As that res is not supported.

It'll be blurry and annoying. Go for the 4K monitor and play around with your graphical settings in game until happy. OK you might not make the 60fps on most more modern games but it'll still look lovely.

Probably gaming or helping technophobes with tech...

I have used 3 4k monitors.

My ASUS & Samsung TN 28" 4k panels do a perfect 1440. Even when they are beside 27" 1440 panels they look perfect.

My LG 32" VA panel is 98% of the quality when it is beside a 27" 1440 monitor. It could be the difference in size.

None of my 4k monitors look good a 1080.

The ASUS panel is in the middle of 2 ASUS TN 27" panels & has never seen 4k windows.
