I currently have an AMD FX 6300 which is not so great. I've been using it for a year and its pretty old because its been made in 2012. I didnt pick this myself but the cashier at the store did, because we had a budget of 700€ for the components. Its been really struggling with perfomance tests, should i get a new CPU, Motherboard and RAM, and if yes, which? I dont have a big budget so something fairly cheap. My motherboard is an ASRock 970 Pro3 R2.0 and i have 8GB of DDR3, dont remember what frequency

You cant do shit with that board and ram today unless you just get an 8350 to replace the 6300, which I wouldn't recommend.

For a real upgrade you'd need new cpu, board and ram which easily puts you to $450 and higher.

You could get a used Hassell Chip and Board to at least reuse the ddr3 ram but you'll be limited to 4c/8t and not much 'future proofing'.

Get a used i7-2600 and Z77 board on ebay?  You can use your RAM, CPU performance is much better, and price is pretty low.  You could go even cheaper by getting an H61 board and a Xeon E3-1230 or E3-1240 and get similar performance to the i7.

H61 + E3-1230 should be about $100 total.

For the H61 + E3-1230 combo, look for the ASUS P8H61-M LE/CSM board on ebay.

You may need to buy an old Celeron G440 (these are usually only ~$15) to update the motherboard BIOS to work with the newer E3-1230.

For a heatsink, the Arctic Alpine 11 will work fine and can be had for ~$10.

I did a list of that in a hardware store's website that's in my city and it totaled to 358€

Can you buy from amazon.de or something?

R5 1600= 150€

8gb ddr4 3000mhz ram=80

B450m mortar = 80

150+80+80=310

But again, what is your budget?

I only see your reply if you @ me.

Also its worth looking into the classifieds, if you can find something on your continent. For example, you have this post that fits your needs, but its being sold in the U.S. so not a great option. You would also make a WTB (want to buy) thread where you make a description of your budget, and what your hoping to buy, and your country and see if there's any sellers that way.
