Hi

Im currently having trouble enabling sli with my two strix 970's

I have installed both cards plus the sli bridge, but my 2nd card just doesn't show up in windows, not even in gpu-z.

I can see both cards in the bios when inspecting the pci-e ports. I have read that you have to enable sli in the bios settings but can't quite figure out where and the manual doesn't mention sli even once.

So my question is where do i enable sli in my bios settings?

My specs:

Asus rog 370-e *updated bios*

2x Asus strix 970

8700k

Nvidia Control Panel application in Windows is the way to turn it on.

Well ive never seen a board have an option for sli in the bios, just buttons on the board itself to tuen off pci slots.

If both cards work by them self in the top slot, try a single card in the second slot.

Have the speakers on so you can her it get into windows.

If you have a second monitor, plug it into the mobo or boot of igpu to begin with.

Are you using a m.2 drive? Is the second card in the middle slot and not the bottom one right?
