To jump right to it I am looking for a new phone and I usually a heavy phone user, doing a lot of things on it. I used to have a Samsung Galaxy S7 and destroyed beyond repair. With all of the leaks/opening of the leevee it is safe to assume most likely what that phone will be. A first question I did have is why, why buy the new Pixel 3. Hardware wise, it is almost the same as the Pixel 2 and the changes are mostly minor, especially when you consider they will run the same OS. Obviously the Pixel 3 is still "rumours" but it will probably run the same as the Pixel 2 XL with Android 9. I am curious about opinions compared to the newest Samsung Galaxy S9+ and Note 9. I am tired of all of the Samsung bloat ware eating up CPU and RAM usage and do prefer stock Android. Are there other phones to keep my out for? I won't be getting anything until October-ish, so waiting is an option. I am curious about the Asus ROG phone, because it is pretty cool, but I don't think my significant other would like the RGB back of it, not to mention it would probably be expensive.

At least you have what many tech nerds dont xD

I think you should be able to remove android and install stock android by yourself. But I am not sure if you are able to do that on any phone.

I've looked online and last time I checked there wasn't a way with the newer Samsung's due to the different CPU versions. Also, I would be a little worried flashing the phone's OS since that may be how I destroyed my old phone.
