Laptop screen sometimes does not work after adding second HDD into a optical bay caddy

I added a HDD to my laptop using a optical bay caddy and now sometimes the screen won't turn on at all, but when i manage to boot into windows i have set it up so the screen turns off after 2 mintues and after moving the mouse/pressing a key the screen does not turn back on.

 

Any advice somebody could give me? :)
