rx580 Is it proftable for me to run an rx480 and an rx580 in crossfire?

I’ve been looking at an rx580 deal costing 225 ish dollars, and an rx480 deal costing 200 dollars. I have an rx480 clocked at about 1266Mhz and the rx480 is clocked at the same. The rx580 is clocked at about 1466Mhz or so, I was wondering if it’s worth it to get an rx580 (I’m planning on upgrading to dual rx580s) just for now I’ve been using an rx480 and I’ve heared you can get better preformance off just the higher clock card and that the lower clock will yield worse preformance. Will it be better or worse to add the rx480 with the rx580 and wich one should I buy?

No point in doing so. Also the 480 and 580 is the same card. The latter is just factory overclocked higher.

 

If you want to run crossfire i recommend grabbing 2 identical cards

just sell your 480 and buy a 1080 (they can be bought for ~400-450$.

Prices are lowering and all I can get is ~200$ I am building a pc for my friend so money is kinda tight.
