Looking for a good pair of headphones/headset

Go to solution Solved by wojtepanik,

those headphones requiere powerfull dac that will power them( DT990), arctis are also really comfortable, I have arctis 3 and I can wear them all day without any trouble :)

So to start this off I'm not an audiophile at all my view on headphones has always been aslong as they sound ok and work that will do but lately I've been wanting to invest into a really good pair of headphones or a headset that will mainly be used for gaming.

I don't mind buying a nice pair of headphones and attaching a mod mic if need be and while I've set £150 as a limit im willing to be a little flexible

The two sets I've been looking at are:

These because they look unbelievably comfortable for gaming sessions

Yeah the headphones only caught my eye because they look unbelievably comfortable, how is the mic and sound on the arctic series?

The mic is the best one I've ever heard of on a gaming headset and the sound is great too.

Tried the Arctis 3 in a store and ordered an Arctis 7 later but beware the Arctis 3 was comfortable for my big head yet the Arctis 7 was too small so I swapped to the razer man o war which has a worse mic but I like the cushions.

I've got a smaller size head (I think haha) was there much of a sound difference between the 3 to 7?

The biggest difference is the headband and the sound, the mic is the same on all the arctis headphones I believe.

The 3 is bluetooth and the 7 has a big donglethingy and as far as I could tell there was no difference between the 3, 5 or 7 except maybe that 7.1 surround isn't possible on all bluetooth devices.
