i5 7th gen is slow

i bought lenovo ip320 80xl

specs: i5 7th gen 7200u

8gb ram

1 tb wd 5400rpm

2gb 940mx graphics

my laptop performs so slow in general tasks like opening explorer 

why so?

 

even my sis i3 5th gen nd 4gb ram performs faster than mine

lenovo live chat executive run a diagnostic test nd laptop passed all tests. i tried every build of windows 10 but nothing helped me...

Install an SSD. Your sister's laptop likely has one and yours doesn't. Harddrives as a boot medium don't belong in machines this new.

Want to know which computer is faster? Then compute something - encode video, convert 1000 images, calculate infinity etc. Otherwise you're talking about loading speed and that is something different - in that case @NelizMastr advice is what you need.
