Hi,
I am trying to buy a new PSU for my pc but I don’t know which one to buy (My pc specs are underneath) I have a low budget so don’t want anything to expensive. Any advice on what to get

My current specs:
CPU- i3-6100
Integrated Graphics
RAM- 8gb DDR 4
Storage- Samsung evo 860 250gb, 2tb hard drive
Moutherboard - Gigabyte H110M

I am planning soon to be upgrading to an i7-7700k and a Gtx 1080 in the near future

How near is "the near future" Having low budget and high end parts don't go really well. But still, you can always try with Seasonic focus plus series everything above 600W is more than enough for your needs and it's top notch PSU on a decent price.

As said, Bitfenix Formula, Whisper M, Cougar GX-F, Be quiet Straight Power 11.

450 or 550W.

i7-7700k is bullshit because way too expensive.

Its roughly equal to an 8k i3 - and cost more than the 8k + Board.

You could also get a Ryzen 5 (2600 or even the 1600) with Board for the Price of that.

And then you'd have a more modern, more safe CPU with 6 Cores.

I wouldn't want to buy Intel right now with all the security holes popping up every quarter...

Just FYI the PSU is the MOST IMPORTANT part.
You DO NOT want to save money on that.

As its the single part that can kill all other parts.

If something goes wrong with the PSU it will fry all your hardware, so you would get a PSU that is safe and of high quality.

And in your system you should be able to do with 300Watts. So just get a good 300Watt PSU.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

Just now, Stefan Payne said:

There are no good 300W PSU.

They start at minimum 400W, most at 450W.

Exactly my point...
