Hey,

I wanted to upgrade my PC but when i found this pre built and i wasn't sure which was better.

PC pre built specs

my possible custom

I am taking in the fact that i can upgrade the pre built pc with the money that it saves me from the custom.

Thanks,

can't see your custom list because you just linked to your amazon cart. Just shows me mine. Either give a PCPartpicker list or take screenshots

oh ok thanks for telling me

here is the list https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/mHZnyX

Go with the custom one. However if the board doesn’t have a bios update you’ll need to do that for 2nd gen Ryzen to work on it.

How do i do the bios update?

Either you make sure the board has a 'ryzen 2000 ready' sticker or the seller can probably do it for you or you can ask one of your friends to loan you their 1st gen ryzen or you contact AMD and get a 'boot kit' https://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/2Gen-Ryzen-AM4-System-Bootup.aspx or lastly get a 400 series board like a B450 or X470 as they will work no problem.
