You know that its hard to choose gaming mouse, but I got this weird ass bad gaming mouse for 20€ and want to upgrade. I tested Steelseries rival 300 on my friend and it felt good. So how can I know if there is better one? I was just gonna buy it, but it was first professional gaming mouse I tested, so there can be better ones?

Does it feel good? Does it meet your needs? Does it appear well built? If yes, buy it. Being able to touch and possibly use the mouse is key, so if you've done this and you're happy with it, get it. Everyone is going to have their own favorite, but everyone also has different needs and budgets.

A gaming mouse should have additional mouse keys. Where your thumb rests, this is what I define as "gaming mouse" honestly other than that find one that fits you or your budget. I use a 20$ one my friend got for my birthday.

NEVER GIVE UP. NEVER STOP LEARNING. DONT LET THE PAST HURT YOU. YOU CAN DOOOOO IT

There are a few ways you can go about finding a mouse you like.

  1. Try out your friends mice.
  2. Visit a store that has them on display where you can actually touch them.
  3. Use any Retail or Etail return policies to your advantage to test out mice until you find one you like.

Most mice have pretty decent sensors now, you can look up "the best" all you want, but in the end shape and material can end up making you hate the mouse. If you're using the best mouse you could still be worse than using an arguably worse mouse that is very comfortable in your hand.

I took me about three weeks to adjust to a Corsair Scimitar Pro from a Logitech M325.  I hated it at first too.  I love the Scimitar Pro now.  I mainly play WoW and the additional keybinds have allowed me to add new macros and rebind keys that were a long stretch.

Long story short, don't just write off a mouse immediately because it feels awkward.  There is certainly an adjustment period.
