So i built a new system roughly about two months ago using high-end hardware and suddenly it seems to get bogged down, unless it is restarted after its been left on for more then four hours and i don't know why. My old system never had issues like this so i don't know how to troubleshoot it accordingly.

@L337h4lIm wondering if its to do with lack of hard disk space and windows using a paging file.  After all 120GB is pretty small when u take into account windows and its updates + drivers and then ontop of that system files from anything u may install to ur second drive.

What? This makes absolutely no sense.

Page file is for when the system runs out of RAM and it uses the slower hard disk for memory tasks. if they didn't have any storage space left, they wouldn't be able to use page file. If you read their post, they have an additional 1tb hard drive.

They also have 32gb of ram, so I very much doubt the system is relying on page file.

@L337h4l try installing some hardware monitoring software such as aida64 (trial version is fine) and hwinfo64. This will let you monitor usage and temperatures and may give insight in to what might be the issue.

What cooler are you using with the CPU? What temperature is the CPU running at when you notice it slowing down? Might be worthwhile checking the temperatures in the aforementioned monitoring software to see if it is thermal throttling. Cooler might not be mounted properly or such.

Also wouldn't hurt to run a virus scan, so download malwarebytes anti malware and run a scan.

@Spotty I am using the corsair hydro h115i pro for my cooler which my system sits in a thermal take p5 case which is an open air case. I'll have to install the monitoring software tomorrow because i have work tomorrow afternoon and i am currently using Comodo as my antivirus and malware program.

Also is okay if i just use HWINFO64 instead of both AIDA64 and HWINFO64 I just want to deal with the hasssle of dealing with AIDA64's trial stuff.

Yeah, one or the other is fine.
Main thing to look at is the CPU temperature readings, as thermal throttling is a pretty common cause of slow downs.
Your H115i should be easily capable of cooling the CPU, but if it's mounted incorrectly and not making proper contact with the CPU IHS then it could still cause issues, so still worth checking the temps.

Run a scan with Comodo then just to be sure there's nothing happening

Also worth checking in Task Manager in the Processes and Performance tabs to see if there are any programs using up an abnormal amount of resources and what your CPU/RAM usage is sitting at.

@Spotty while running the thermal test under synthetic load supplied by Real Temp's load tester at 100% running for 15 minutes temp ranges are min: 39C max: 56C avg: 52C. I have Comodo set for daily quick scans and weekly full scans, and there is nothing shown since the last scan yesterday. On task manager its showing CPU in the 20-24% usage range and memory is sitting at 22%. The only thing using an abnormally large amount of memory is ASUS Aura lighting service at 226MB. The largest amount of CPU usage is from the load tester at 9.8-10% usage.

At the 30 minute mark temps are min: 39C max: 56C avg: 52C so no changes so I'd rule out thermal throttling also I found out that Comodo blocked my autorestart batch file from running so my computer wasnt getting its daily restart like I wanted it to.

Those temps look pretty good, definitely not thermal throttling then.

Keep an eye on it and when you notice things slowing down again, check Task Manager again and see if there is any difference or any programs that are using a considerable amount of resources.

The only increase I saw in task manager was in CPU usage when I shutdown the load tester from task manager itself and a diagnostic service: diagnostic policy service and I dont know what that is. It increased from 21-24% to 30-31% and memory stayed at 22%.
