I was going to update my B360M Bazooka mobos bios and as I downloaded the update I was going to move it to my thumb drive but I accidentally opened the .exe file and it ran while in windows.

It locked my mouse and keyboard and said please wait 1 or 2 minutes and it seemed to update, after rebooting the msi logo and bios screens were showing on both of my monitors when it used to only be one and the version is the latest.

Everything seems to be fine, I tried to flash bios properly but it won't let me do anything with the file.. maybe because its already the latest version I don't know.  Do I need to be concerned about anything, some bios settings changed like it opened up in advanced mode and XMP was disabled but thats all I noticed.

It sounds like it updated itself with the exe. I believe you're all good.

thanks for the replies, just curious is it normal for my monitors to both be on during bios boot? Like my second monitor becomes a mirror to my first with where my mouse moves and such.

i am sure you will be fine keep us all updated. :)
