Macbook pro crackling noise

Go to solution Solved by jefire411,

OK, it seems like the fan really is hitting it's sounding metal. Can't do anything for that really :(

My 13" 2015 MacBook pro because it was making a weird noise when under load so I opened it up, unscrewed the fan, and it seemed fine so I screwed it back in and just like Snazzylab's iMac pro's vesa mount, the screw breaks leaving a good chunk of it inside! Now the fan isn't completely held down and it is still making that noise! I have no idea what may be causing it now. Help?

On a side note, I repasted my laptop while I was checking the fan and I noticed the heatsink is ridiculously small, Look at this thing!

Just sounds like the metal unibody just expanding and contracting from the heat. Unless you can be more specific about where the sound is coming from, that is probably all that it is.

It's like a crackling noise, kinda sounds like a fan hitting something or the speaker issues on the 2016/17 MacBook pros. I can't pinpoint exactly were it is coming from and I don't think it's the speakers as even when off the laptop will continue to make this noise at times.
