is it necessary to update bios?

hello guys, i just installed my new motherboard and the current version was F3, the latests was F6. should i update it? could i get some performance? or its just the same? im using "Gigabyte B360M D3H" motherboard. thanks for reading!

yea I have a gigabyte mobo and although not necessary it halved the boot time also it makes your computer more secure (I think)
