GTX 660M in 2011 27" IMAC

I know Linus isn't big on macs, and this is his form, but maybe someone here has some idea, and I generally go here first

 

So here's my question. Will a GTX 660M work in a mid 2011 IMAC 27"?
The 6970M burned up, and i don't really want to spend money on a card that is going to break again. I saw this article (https://www.ifixit.com/Story/18646/Successful_iMac_Upgrade_to_GTX_880M) were a guy put an 880M in but i don't need that much power (or heat). A 660M would be plenty for my needs.
I found this one on Ebay, and before i spend $100 it would be good to have at least an idea if it will work.
Boot screen is not important (it would be nice though), brightness control is also not important, as long as i can see the screen.

So. Your 6970M burned up. Okay there's no problem to upgrade to GTX 660M. I guess. If you are not sure if that's gonna work try to find a 680M for the same price. (Seen that card for upgrade in forum 680M).

So the guy in the story I linked was using a GTX 880M out of a allienware. Is there any reason why a Quadro 880M out of a dell would not work? Do not buy that that is not what you think it is that will most likely run hot and not perform near as well as you think it will I'm not even sure it has metal support
