Headphones audio only left ear while connected thru PC but not monitor.

Hello,

The headphones I have only have audio going through the left ear when I connect them through my PC case but when i connect them through the headphone jack on my monitor it works fine, so i know that my headphones work fine.

Can someone help me to get audio through both left and right ear when plugged in through my PC case?

Hey Ja55ie,

Have you tried looking through the audio settings to see if you may have them set for Mono audio instead of stereo?

If you have then you may have an issue with cable connection inside your PC (assuming the connector is on the front of the case!)

You could have a damage PC connector, Have you tried the front connector on the PC ( phone jack )

You could get a USB Headphone adapter if you need

@Dufsao14 Hey I have made sure to set it to stereo in my Asus audio setting and verified in windows as well.

I may have a connection issue the front connection and i'll have to double check that.

@zmax that was the only connector i tried on the pc itself and i haven't tried the rear one. Yes I may need to get a USb adapter.

I was able to tweek the balance in the speaker properties so that it sounds even from both ears. So I guess it's sort of a fix at the moment.

Thanks guys
