The Polks are just speakers and would require a receiver right? Unless you already have on the Logitechs are cheaper and using 3.5 cables is easier.

Yea but since i have 4 polk tl1 speaker 1 polk tl1 center & 2 sp-bs22-lr bookshelf speaker,

I can always just get a receiver & i think it would sound better then the Z906.

I guess i can always just buy a sub in the future.

Oh. Missed the part about you already having the Polks. Then you might even want to invest in a 7.1 receiver and use the pioneers for your front. I'm pretty happy with my Yamaha 5.1 which has individual speaker EQs so it would handle mismatched speakers.

Would definitely have better sound and more presence than the Logitech. I'd just recommend the Logitechs over an AVR if you have a high Hz monitor and no spare, or switch inputs. It's irritating to have the PC think the receiver is a monitor that doesn't really exist and I have to unplug my monitor to use my PS4. Guess it's not a huge issue, but it gets annoying.

Obviously it's more expensive though....
