Need help with 980TI (dying card?)

Go to solution Solved by Brews,

I've actually managed to solve it. Simply changing the resolution down from 2560 x 1440 to 1920 x 1080 and then back again seems to have fixed it. Driver / windows problem?

edit:
The above text is not entirely correct. As I changed the resolution, the refresh rate was also lowered from 144hz to 60. Increasing it to 144 again made the problem arise again. It doesn't seem to be visible at 120hz either, only at 144.

A couple of days ago I discovered some blue lines on my screen. I've mostly been ignoring it until today for some reason.
The lines appear on different shades of blue, purple and red (haven't noticed them on any other color).

It's only displaying on my Acer XB270HU monitor which is connected to a displayport, no lines on my other monitor. I've tried connecting the monitor to another computer (with the same cable) to rule it out - No lines with another computer.
Also tried switching to another displayport on the card.
Is the card dying?

Took a couple of pictures with my phone as examples of the problem. Can't catch the problem on Gyazo though.

Try different cables and inputs/outputs.

HDMI, DVI, etc

I have 3 screens connected at the moment
One connected by HDMI - no problems.

One connected in the DVI port with a HDMI adapter - no problems.
One connected in Displayport - the only problematic one.

Unfortunately I do not have any other displayport cables to test, but when I connected the displayport screen to a laptop with the same cable, the lines were nowhere to be found. When I connected it to my 980ti again the lines were back.
If it were the cable or the display I would've gotten the same/similar problems on the laptop, correct? I used the same background to get the same shades of blue and played with some gradients in Photoshop but there were no problems.
