So i've bought two bronze power supplies (EVGA 450w and corsair cx650m) and the smell of rubber hasn't left my case even when swapping between the two. Both PSU's smelled like rubber out of the box which im not sure if its normal, and while in use, i should say however with the EVGA power supplies the lights on my keyboard and case are definitely brighter than before.

I should say there's no bulging capacitors on any component, but the motherboard i do a have is a used one of im not sure how many years old. I did however cause i short with my ram sticks that still work, but this smell was present even before that.
