Msi mobo asking for usb key

I have a msi p55m-gd45 motherboard. it's second hand and when you boot it says "please insert usb key press any key to check". You can't get into the bios or any settings... I tried pulling the cmos battery for 15 min. Tried clearing the CMOS using the pins (5 seconds) and tried flipping the battery for 5 seconds. No luck. Anyone else come across this?
