This might be different for HP, but whenever i need a really obscure part I usually just call warranty services and try to get to the parts department sometimes you will be able to buy the part you need over the phone if you have the right info like model number/part number and you are talking to the right person. (shipping is usually not cheap though, HP is assholes about most things so they might not let you)

Called them instead?  Both Dell and HP's parts websites are trash for almost anything that's not a generic upgrade like memory or battery because OEMs don't consider most laptop parts to be customer replaceable.  Call them give them the part, and see if they'll sell it to you without requiring some BS authorized repair license.

Customer service should be able to transfer you.  You're looking for parts sales though so you might have to go to one of their parts sellers.  I don't know what country you're in, but here:

https://parts.hp.com/hpparts/Part_Resellers.aspx?mscssid=12D5AAFBFBC4469BA59354581D0364A6&geo_code=NA

You could check those resellers to see if they have the specific part as well, but I looked at the US ones and didn't find it.  It's possible that you have to order an assembly, something that includes the hard drive cable, like an HDD caddy assembly.

Or, rather than trying to find by part number on ebay, try a more generic search like this and compare it to the cable you have to see if it's right:

I dont know if you got this resolved but i was able to used this cable.

https://express.google.com/u/0/product/172277829936997213_4001788816821878435_6298248

in a HP 14-DF0023CL. I believe the only difference is the bends in the cable. I dont know this for sure. all i know is that this WORKED and i was able to connect 700gb HDD to it.

I hope this helps.

To HarryBerry272,

I bought a pair of 14-ck0599sa with NVMe SSD,

I had the same storage ideas of two drives, downloaded the maintenance & service guide and searched the part numbers to the both drive cable and the "HDD bumper" (excuse for a caddy).

Ended up here at your post, investigated HP Parts Store / Partsurfer and have just ordered both parts, bit expensive, but I'm too impatient to wait for 2nd hand parts to show up on eBay as someone breaks one.

I'm in the UK, and the bits came to £39.06 inc taxes and delivery

probably about as much as I can source the HDD disk for locally !

However easily cheaper and more convenient than an equivalent sized external USB HDD

Hope this helps

P.S.

The code posted by GrandeMcW only works in the US, I couldn't work out where you reside, so sorry if this doesn't help you directly, but it should help any fellow Brits reading this from our side of the pond
