Question about apevia 900w

I have a pc i bought in summer 2016 from cyberpowerpc. I was doing some research on the different components inside of it and i have an apevia atx-ap900w I started looking up some reviews on it and seems that a lot of people have complained about it frying the motherboard and upon booting popping and causing problems.Since having it in for two years now should I worry about replacing or would you think all is fine? would love to hear any suggestions and recommendations

OH LORD NOT APEVIA YOU POOR CHILD

I used an apevia on my bro's coputer, baaaaaad decision. Thing fried at half load and wrecked the motherboard. A used power supply from a reputable seller is better, or one of those cheap EVGA 80+ bronze units. I can't believe it lasted for 2 whole years for you, I wouldn't trust it for a week.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

best use for crap PSUs from these small brand names is as a weapon to attack whoever decides to use it. Bad boy, cyberpower.

It's an Apeva unit advertised at a very unusual wattage. I would recommend taking it to Best Buy or Fry's so they can recycle it.

Doorstop, get a better one. @STRMfrmXMN might want to put some comment on Apevia PSUs on the list, I feel like I see them more and more nowadays
