Help discover double monitors where one can be worse than the other

Hey!

I recently finished building my pc and getting all the peripherals but not the monitor. At this point i have a new PC that i can only hook up to my TV, but that's not fun.

What i'm searching for are 2 monitors - Single for gaming and the both for work related stuff.

How i would like things to work:

*both monitors should be 1080 since that what people say about 1060 6gb

*one of the monitors has to be 144hz

*Both Monitors have to be the same size (what size doesn't really matter)

*They have to look somewhat the same

*My budget is kinda 350$ but i can go higher if necessary

I want one good monitor and the second doesn't have to be that good since its for word, powerpoint, programming and such, So i was wondering do monitors that look the same exist but are differing cost and quality.

Would love to hear your suggestions, thank you in advance.

You could get a 1440 monitor and just run games at 1080... but then again I also play with 3 monitors on my 2gb 960...

I have the Acer GN246HL which is 144hz, but also a TN panel. But at your price your not getting a high Hz IPS so...

I also have Acer R240HY which is a 60hz IPS.

Roughly the same size. One is 24, the other is 23.8. I don't know about the high hertz, but the IPS panel does have a 27. I'd recommend at that res to go for 1440 though. 1080 at that size starts to get choppy.
