PC SPECS

Ram: 4x4GB GEIL EVO POTENZA drr4@2400mhz

Motherboard: AsRock z170 Pro4

CPU: i7-6700k

GFX: GTX 980 Ti

Went to microcenter to pick up an additional kit of the exact same ram. Same timing and same stock speed. Ram is running at stock speed. I’ve already tried Memtest (No errors). Basically the computer boots and runs for quite a while but sometimes randomly crashes ever since I got new ram. I get different BSOD codes every time. One of the was MEMORY_MANAGEMENT. Not sure what is up.

All RAM settings are stock.

When you say stock speeds does that mean you enabled the XMP profile? Or is it running at 2133MHz?

It’s running at 240hz which is the stock speed of both 2x4gb kits. I put the XMP profile into auto.

@KazOnline Then I have two guesses. It's perhaps getting hot causing problems. Check in HWiNFO to see RAM temps. Or perhaps you may need to increase some voltages ever so slightly.

I updated the bios to see if that was the issue now it won’t even boot into windows with 1 stick. It just goes to windows automatic repair and black screens. Windows install usb drive also just goes straight to a purple screen. I downgraded the bios to its original and it’s still doing the same thing.
