there are holes and slots in the bracket, some cases will have holes only for one orientation some will have for mounting the PSU both ways. looks like you would need to fip the PSU over to make it line up with the holes here

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Thanks for the replies. I think I figured it out. As a first timer, I feel like I am seriously OVERTHINKING every single aspect of putting the computer together. I spent 750$ and am overly cautious I am going to damage something. Progress is going ok though, as long as I can figure out front panel connectors, as with my MOBO they are not labeled.

The only thing you're likely to damage is the motherboard by installing the standoffs incorrectly, as well as the CPU if you have a chip that has pins that stick out (or, if your motherboard has the pins rather than the CPU, then those can also be damaged). Otherwise, it's mostly just adult Legos.
