Monitor for prebuilt pc

My friend told me today he just bought this prebuilt gaming pc. he wants me to help him pick out a monitor but i have no idea what this pc can do so picking a monitor to pair well with it is challenging. plz help

I’d imagine that a 1070 can handle 1440p so maybe something like PG278Q or XB271HU.
