Can i running laptop gaming with egpu

Happy for join this forum. Can i ask question. What happen if i having the laptop gaming but i want to using external gpu. Is it will not running because it will crushed each other or only running internal graphic card or not read in two of them. I was just only found the internet video who using external gpu but they only using laptop who doesn't have gpu internal. But what happen if it using laptop who had the internal graphic in they laptop. Thanks for the attention

So if your using an external GPU, once the drivers are downloaded, you just need to make sure your global settings are set to that external GPU rather than the intel GPU. I use an intel chip which has onboard graphics and a Nvidia GPU. I had to make sure that my monitor was plugged into my GPU and not my motherboard and that my Nvidia global settings were set to use my high-end GPU over my internal intel graphics as a global setting.

Where i can find the global setting in my laptop. Intel setting or nvidia control panel. Thank you
