Using second monitor thru DVI makes 5G wireless not work

Been using a second monitor for a while with no problems. Plugged my tv into my hdmi to dvi adapter and wifi stops working. I try switching monitors and cables and have the same problem. Cant even access the router even though windows says I'm connected but no internet. unplugging or simply just using any other display but the dvi one and it works fine. Funny thing is if I connect to the 2.4g of my router that works fine so it just messes with 5g? Doesn't seem logical to me just seeing if anybody has a clue why 5g doesn't work when using the dvi port with an hdmi adapter.

My gfx card only had 1 dedicated hdmi port thats why im using the dvi adapter. Main monitor is DP.

Try getting a better shielded DVI cable.

Sorry if it wasn't clear but it's only a hdmi to dvi converter for the gfx card. All cables are hdmi but possibly the converter somehow not shielded but that solution doesnt seem quite right though but don't have another to test.
