Hey folks - its almost time for annual maintenance again. Been running most of my fittings for 2 years (PETG Hard Tubing), last year i simply rinsed them out an changed the "loose" o-rings for new ones (Barrow sent me a load so i thought why not.

Question is, should i or is it even possible to change out the "fixed" o-ring on the fitting?

How would i get them off?

The G1/4 orings should be changed when you notice it becoming less pliable or becoming overly deformed. The rotary portion are held in with spring clips so they aren’t exactly easy to change out since it usually take significant force to pull them apart. Most people just leave them as is but they can fail over the long term so it’s best to keep a close eye on them during leak testing.
