So I'm planning out a computer to buy with some tech enthusiast friends and I had the idea of organizing things in a spreadsheet to allow for organization and general planning. With that, I had the bright idea to see if anyone knew any similar formulas to the ones used in Scrapyard Wars for scoring. If not I could just go scour the internet for formulas.

A good one is FPS/money spent.

60 FPS / 600 dollar system is better than

60FPS / 1200 dollar system.

Whwre pc 1 has a score of 10% & PC 2 has a score of 5%. Or you could do to the power of 10 making it so $10/frame is 100% money efficiency turning PC 1 into a 100% price to performance and PC 2 50%.

If you built a pc where it got 60FPS for $300 your have 200% efficiency. Or you could score by

Electrociry cost over FPS

or electricity cost /(cost/FPS) to get the ultimate long term price to performance.
