Can't boot my computer, keeps turning on & off before anything shows up

Hi Everyone!

 

So i have a problem with my computer, i press the button and the fans start running, before i know it everything shuts down, 2 seconds later it starts up again, continuing the cycle of turning on and off. 

I understand that the details i provide is not much. Just testing my luck here.


Maybe worth noting is that the startup doesn't last for long, the computer shuts down before any text get to show up.

 

I suspect the problem lies within the powersupply, but the fact that it keeps turning on and off makes me wonder.

Sounds like psu to me too.

 

Have you reset CMOS?

 

I assume you have a keyboard and mouse plugged in.

yeah, i have not reset CMOS, will try it, mouse & keyboard are plugged in yes :D
