Does the graphics card turn on? Do you see fans spinning? Do you have the PCI-E connector fully plugged in?

Yes I have everything plugged in correctly, the card is seated/connected correctly, my keyboard and mice give lights ( when I press on caps lock my caps lock led turns on) everything else spins like it should, and turned on

Do you have the monitor on the correct input?

I've plugged in my HDMI to my motherboard (ryzen 2200g) and my DP to my GPU (GTX 1060) I booted it and it recognized the GTX 1060 and booted it up to windows when I tried to switch my input device via my monitor settings to HDMI it refuses and sets me aromatically on DP again

Remove the card, then connect your monitor to your motherboard. Uninstall graphics driver. Then put the card back in then start the PC.
