Hi this is my first post and this is the only place I found appropriate for asking this so I registered. This thing has been bugging me out since I watched some gameplay of Rocket League on youtube. I have a GTX 960 (enough for this game) and I always play at highest settings but my display is always pixelated around corners. Then I started noticing this effect outside game, that is, even in wondows, when I move my mouse pointer, it is followed by a colourful shadow of itself... Basically I am thinking its because of refresh rate or something, but I am also thinking my HDMI cable is bad.

I am attaching some screenshots of Rocket League (highest graphics settings) which runs smoothly but looks horrible when compared to its gameplays on youtube.

I don't know if it'll appear same on your screen or better (since this is a screenshot taken from windows printscreen), but the text looks pixelated to me. Thanks.adasd.png

Honestly it looks fine to me.  Perhaps change the anti-aliasing in the game to something a little higher, but the text looks perfectly fine here, and I'm on my laptop which is 1920x1080 as well.

Everything is at its highest...
I think if I take screenshot and send it and it looks fine to you maybe my monitor or hdmi cable isnt good. Will buying a higher priced hdmi cable make a difference here?
