``Windows 10''

Hey all. I recently obtained a Blue Yeti microphone. The black stand up, side addressing ones. My roommate had it before me and said he could never get it to work, I plugged it in and it worked perfectly. Now my luck seems to have run out.

It will show up in device manager as both a microphone and a speaker (since it has a audio jack built in) but when I go to any program to use it it doesnt pick up any sound. The only sound I do hear from it is when I go into recording devices I can hear that it is getting power (that low hum if you listen really hard to any microphone.)

Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers several times, made sure the privacy settings were correct, restarted, and looked through every setting I can think of. Any advice would be great.

Did you set the mic portion it to "Default Communication Device"?

Edit: Its plug and play so there arent supposed to be drivers for the mic specifically.
