New Graphics Card for my aging system

Go to solution Solved by TacoSenpai,

A 1050ti as suggested will do you just right and then some.  If you can't find one within your budget the 1050 4GB version will work real well.

I also know on AMD's side there are the RX500 series.

Advise wanted I have an ageing system with 1gb 550gtx now even though is runs my games I play AOE2 etc but when i play Crysis, FryCry, GTA even though it runs the fans go nuts and the temp goes up

Just want a good 1080p Card for less then £150 is that possible? plus looking at my system spec what else should I upgrade? memory CPU or scrap the whole lot just buy a new rig?

Could definatly do with a system upgrade maybe going down the AM4 route as it would be the cheapest option and allow an upgrade path for the future if its only light gaming maybe a R3 1300 might be a good idea to go for as its one of the cheaper options.

i have a 1300x with a 4GHz oc. it handles everything i throw at it so far, i'm just lacking in the gpu strength side. i do also have a cooler master 240mm aio to keep thermals between 43-52C range. i am thinking of picking up a 2600x/2700x depending on the price of my next gpu is though
