so i ended up getting my hands on a upgraded dell power edge 2800 little did i know that it had a xeon 1125 in it i was trying to do research but i cant find 1 thing on the cpu other than its specs on intels website. ive been reaching out asking around to see if anyone knows anything on this server as you can only find things on the xeon 1125c and the 1225

Why don't you just put it back in and boot he system up? It should tell you inside the BIOS.

1125 is the serial number, not the model. Whatever it is it looks to be on socket 604.

 

Nothing much to go by from the numbers printed on it though, stick it back in the system and check with cpu-z or something similar.

i dont have any ram for the system

intel only shows its recomended price of 121 to 150 dollars but still then im left trying to find out what people have been selling it for because even if you search the 1125 you will get different cpus like the 1125c and the 1225
