Bought used RX 580, stopped booting 2 weeks in

So I bought a used XFX RX 580 recently and it worked fine for about 2 weeks until the computer suddenly powered off. When I try to reboot the GPU blinks with a red light once near its power in and then just doesn't boot. Once the GPU is removed or another GPU is slotted in, the computer boots just fine. Am I missing anything or is this a dud card?

Possibly a very worn out mining card. If removing it the system has no problems, the card is the issue. Sorry mate, it's probably dead.

Sorry buddy, probably a miner's card that was dying and that's why they sold it. If there's no other issues with the system it's probably dead. On the upside, this EVGA 1080 is on sale
