I'm currently using an Acer T5000 with a Intel 6th gen i5 6300hq processor and a gtx 950m graphics. Now I'm planning on replacing it with a 2 in 1.

I was looking at the Surface Book 2 which have every piece of hardware I need, sadly it's waaaay out of my price range.

So here's what I am looking for.A 2 in 1 that have post-ryzen CPU , presumably better horsepower than the 6300hq,16GB ram or the capability for it,and a price less than $1000.as for graphic card,if it has a dedicated graphic card that's better than 950m,great.if not,not a deal breaker, I'll just use it for hearthstone then.

What do you think guys? It's it reasonable?Or should I just get a non-dedicated graphic card version of surface book 2 that Linus did not approve?

Depends if you really need the 2-in-1 capability.

This looks like a much better alternative if you can make it with just a touchscreen.

Thank you for the reply.Location is US,for display size,13 inch to 15.6 inch works for me, I do want it to have better ppi than the old one, which is around 142,and that all I want for the screen.I'll be sitting in an office for the majority of the year so I'm happy to trade in battery life for thinner chassis.

Thanks for the reply. Interesting model, but touchscreen is actually not the reason I wanted a 2 in 1. What I need is a Windows tablet with great processing power and an actual keyboard attached, touchscreen is just a cute little specialty that comes with the tablet part.

Cannot be a convertible? If battery life isn't a big concern you can try Miix 520

convertible is ok , it's still tablet-looking.I'll look into Miix 520,but are there better choices in convertibles?

If you need a windows tablet with that much power you will have to pay more but what exactly will you use it for.

I misspoke by saying "windows tablet" when any form of 2 in 1 will do,convertible or tablet.

And with "great processing power" I meant a processor better than i5-6300hq , should be easily achieved by any 8th gen core i5/i7 or a good Ryzen.

So like @ZM Fong said look at Convertibles on amazon or other websites within your budget with an i7-8550U or higher.
