Streaming on a laptop?

My work has decided that they want to start live streaming on Youtube every now an then, however the only knowledge i have is that a powerful CPU will be needed

 

No gaming will be stream it's purely business applications; the laptops we have are equipped with i5's and 8GBs of RAM, now it's a possibility that we may buy another machine however for obvious reasons they want to try and use what we have; so what exactly should be minimum spec for Youtube streaming at 1080p?

If you're building a machine that's only doing streaming, you could easily get away with a midrange CPU like an i5 or a Ryzen 5. You don't need anything powerful to stream at 1080p on YouTube, especially since YouTube is likely going to cap the maximum bitrate to something relatively low.

With i7-8750H CPU it's possible
