Is the Noctua DH-N15 Enough

I'm building a PC  and I'm not sure if the Cooler I chose was enough to cool not down this is my first build so I need to know if it will be enough.

My parts are as follow

Nvidia Gtx 1080

 Intel i7 8700

MSI Gaming Plus Z370

Thermaltake 650W PSU

16GB Ram

it definitely should, assuming your talking about the NH-D15.

Get an H7. NH_D15 is way too overkill

Yes, that cooler is more than enough. The i7 8700 has a TDP of 65 watts, which is well within the capabilities of this cooler.

i have a nh-d15 and it is incredible

way more silent then my h100iv2 and way better temps

It's overkill since you're not oc'ing.

Why not oc with the 8700k instead?

I have one as well. Big ass cooler that means serious business. It barely fit into my Corsair 750D case
