My friend dosen't really know that much about computers and he wants to get into gaming for under or at $600. I already have a pc planned out, I would just like it if someone could give some tips on some better parts.https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nJBPgw

Build is good as is. But I'd like to recommend some changes for the build.

*Faster 6-Core Processor

*Motherboard that allows overclocking

*Faster dual channel memory

*Dual fan GPU

*Better Fans (Would suggest putting one on front and one on top as intake. The MX330 has one included exhaust fan at the rear. Airflow by this setup would be sufficient)

Nothing stands out as trash; go for it.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

The aftermarket thermal paste and Raidmax case fans are unnecessary. The included stock cooler, paste, and case fans should be fine already.

The mid tower case is a bit awkward for a matx board and less efficient for cooling but it's fine if that doesn't bother you.

- Do you already have the Inland - 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive?  Your build list doesn't have a price for it... just wondering if you added it to your by mistake.

- For $22.49 more you can get the R5 2600

R5 1400--4 Cores, 8 Threads @3.2GHz Zen (2017)
