Hello I got an aging gaming pc consisting of ASUS 970 pro gaming/arua paired with a FX8150 processor 10gb ram, Corsair AX750 with a dead ASUS radeon  6950 (now replaced with a very lesser NVidia GT420). surprisingly this plays GTAV really well but the game i really would like to play is Just Cause 3. The radeon barely cut the mustard but its now dead for other reasons. I am wondering what graphics card would be best for the task to be paired with this CPU with out getting to hot in a tropical climate. I prefer to keep my resolution to 1080p since thats the best my monitor can do anyways.

Thanks in advanced.

Yes I know the cpu is aged and I will have to be looking at a whole new build in the future but for the moment, thats not possible and I'd like the get as much out of this Build for as long as i can for now. Thanks for the advice I was thinking a 1050ti might be the best option as well, but was a bit worried about cpu bottle necking.

It should be fine. The 1050 Ti is a lower end card. If you wanted to save even more by buying used, the GTX 770 and GTX 970 are good options.

JC3 has a high CPU load, even when trying to hit 60fps. It uses some heavy gameworks physx/explosion features.

I agree with you on JC3s cpu loads however I know that the fx8150 can handle it because I was playing it before with 1090t and a radeon 6950 2gb edition with no problems. I had to change the cpu and motherboard after a lightning strike with also damaged my 6950 (it displays wide verticle red lines no matter the port you plug the monitor in with).

I'm in the Caribbean so parts i'm looking at are from amazon (American sourced). I'm looking at a small budget under $150usd hopefully.

Then I have no idea,

RX 570s/580s are usually decently priced and solid for 1080p gaming

i was thinking about that as well. Thanks. I'd like to get Nvidia because of the improved linux support but i'm not sure if that's a big deal really.

The AMD card gets you cheaper free-sync displays for adaptive sync tech, don't know if it works on Linux though.
