I am looking to build my first gaming pc. I was wondering if a 1050ti and a ryzen 3 1200 are a good pair for 1080p gaming. This is the hardware I have been looking at. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WDsjNQ

Fixed everything

You can install windows for free using their media creation tool

 an RX 580 is $20 more, should buy that and just live without a case

That hard drive is used, could get a B450 board for a bit more to get StoreMI

If you have a bit more cash to play with there's the upgrades when buying the PC, StoreMI makes add an SSD easy

Just need a flash drive for the media creation tool

but seriously ditch the case if it gets you a better GPU or something.

and an R5 2600* potentially, decently faster than the R5 1600

@dRaGoNsLaYeR8643

Personally I'd ditch that hard drive in favour of an SSD. Adding in a HDD as mass storage is easy, moving boot partitions from HDD to SSD is much more time consuming in comparison.

That graphics card is a mining card (notice that it only has 1 DVI port in the I/O area), in which Powercolor gives no warranty whatsoever on. Bad choice.

mATX case could limit mobo selection in the future.

a 240GB SSD instead would run out of space pretty quickly.

Why the hell are they selling that on newegg.

Pretty sure you just throw away the $20 case when you're doing a major upgrade anyways.

Just buy one of the RX 580s instead they're like $20-40 more, $40 for the 8GB below in the other build.
