I'm looking for it too edit vids and Game

Go to solution Solved by demonkoi,

go for the cheaper one unless you need an optical drive you wont get any performance increase and the upgrades you would like to do would be possible. Also you wont get any better performance by getting a better motherboard so the systems would perform identically so rather save a buck.

I have two possible builds and as far as im aware the performance should really be the same and not too far apart. im just looking for some advice on which i should go for. im hoping to do some video editing and some gaming on this build. if any parts need to be or should be changed i need to keep this to a similar price range.

THANK YOU! I was sat here knowing the performance should be identical but i couldn't justify the second build being so much more expensive. The optical drive is not needed and was just included.

you should consider building your own pc its surprisingly easy even a 3 year old can do it. you would save some money and it would teach you a valuable skill. maybe ask a friend who is pc savvy to help you if your afraid to do it alone

i know its supposed to be easy and worth while but im afraid of messing it up, the delivery causing issues, and not having a warranty. the only pc wise friend i have is the same and opted for this website. custompc.ie .

Build it yourself. It's like lego but a bit more careful.

If the components you buy are new, they'll have warranty. Just watch heaps of tutorials.

Look up some performance benchmarks for yourself.  Don't fall for hear-say.  Ryzen is within the margin of error on fps for most games, and tears through workstation loads.  They are also generally cheaper, all unlocked for overclocking, and can overclock on midrange motherboards.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.
