Which one? Gigabyte vs Cooler Master PSUs(+ EVGA,Corsair)

4 minutes ago, -rascal- said:

That is being measured from the wall socket.

Considering the Ax860i is a 80 PLUS Platinum unit iwht ~92% efficiency, even 400W from the wall = 368W actual

Well thanks, but i don't have any under 750W option that isn't chinese(My last reply).

No.  Because you gave two suggestions and said not to provide recommendations for anything else.

You presented us with two PSUs.  One is shit and the other is a complete unknown from an OEM that's never made PSUs before.  So my answer is "no".

Thank you. 9_9

Between the MasterWatt and Corsair CX, I'd pick the CX unit.

Yeah, HX750 might be a bit too much...

Well i tend to lean on CM side, even tho i know Corsair has some of its unique tech built into their psus. I guess CM looks better and is semi modular.

Yes ones with higher price are MIJ, but this one isn't.

I would say the MasterWatt 750 is the best out of the ones you listed.

It's a Tier 3 on our PSU Tier List: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/631048-psu-tier-list-updated/

Masterwatt MWE gold looks better IMHO, same platform as used in the Xilence Performance X. My only issue is that XHY is basically a no-name when it comes to the PSU industry (they do have a couple units on Ecova, but none are particularly confidence inspiring)

Just some bapo nerd from 'Straya

No.  MIJ is what Cooler Master calls their highest end PSU.  Yes, it stands for and is 'made in Japan', but other than that they are ALL made in China.

I guess what you meant to say is "generic" power supply, like Kentek, or Shark, or Excelvan, or Fast Happy...

Ok, I'll go staight to question. Which one of this three PSUs would be best bang for the buck?

Please don't reply with recommendation for another PSU because trust me i searched in all local retails and i couldn't find any better PSUs.

Why not order online?!
Would solve your problem, you'd get a better unit for less money...

But well, not my PC, so you have to live with that...

If they have Cooler Master, ask them for the V-Series

http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/power-supplies-by-series/v550/

Some of those might have one of those, though they are old and will be replaced soon by a new one...

Here are candidates:

Cooler Master:

MWE Gold 550[W] (Non Modular)           110$ US

MasterWatt 750[W] (Semi Modular)        130$ US

Gigabyte:

G750H (Semi Modular)          90$ US

(Cheapest prices from local retails)

I would like to know did any of you have had experience with any of these? If so did you have any problems with it, and would you recommend it.

EVGA 650W Fully Modular Cheaper and those 3 and reliable sooo why not? Do you not have a credit card?

Because the model has issues with its protections and is loud, it doesn't ship to outside of the US, and even if it did, import duties are a thing.

¿(×_×)¿ Why do I feel like you're going about this purchase Bass Ackwards? I think you should at least expand your mental options and research better *bang for buck* alternatives so I revert to the standard answer most have given you *ahem*.... NO.

As i said i can't order anything, first most stuff is shipped only to US, second even if it was to ship, best option is countries in EU which my isn't. I can't order anything to be shipped in Serbia, and in Serbia i have limited options. I mean yes i can order some stuff from ebay, but customs will take so much, it goes like this, i order something for 100$, they say it is worth 150$ on that goes VAT(if i am right, cause here it is PDV) which is 10%, then on top of that(150+10%=165$) goes customs which is 20% so you got 165+20%=198$ and that is if i have luck, so i paid 100$ for PSU and i have to pay customs another 48$, so now you see why even if i can order it will be much more than i initially paid for PSU, and i don't have warranty. Reason why i don't have warranty is because for me it would cost 150$ to send something anywhere outside of Serbia.

because i don't want to explain this, but looks like everytime i have to.

PS: I already ordered MasterWatt 750W for 130$. Thank y'all.

I ordered:

PSU: MasterWatt 750W

Cooler: Cosmo Cool LC-CC-120

Protection: APC PM5-GR

SSD: KingSpec Q360 360GB 3D TLC

Case: CoolerMaster MasterBox MB600L

Total: 300$ US Which includes additional stuff that i needed for stuff listed, like screws, cables, dust-filters(Because i don't know if there are any in CM MB600L)...

As i little upgrade for this PC, till now i had Raidmax Cobra PSU, some LC cooler, no overcurrent protection, no SSD, and some CM case which looks like regular case(non gaming). I 'll wait then i will probably post again for HDD if i need help(which i probably will xD).
