I keep having this weird issue with my logitech G502s i had one for a year and two months and then it started left click hold dragging by itself and i had it replaced by a new G502 and 1-2 weeks after i got it same deal happening again? Is this a mouse switch issue or software issue, i have switched between USB ports, makes no difference. I have tried removing HID from devices but makes no difference it seems. So im utterly confused asto is the mouse just bad or software on my side? So my question would be do i get it replaced or is there any fix?

I deleted logitech software alongside HID devices and restarted, now the issue is gone for now. Im not planning to install logitech software back to see if it makes a difference. But i already checked alot of posts about this before coming here. I have cleaned the old mouse and it made no difference, this new one cant be dirty yet.

I had the same issue with the left click and drag randomly releasing.  What fixed it for me was changing a setting in the logitech gaming software. Go into the gaming software settings and click on "profile."  Make sure that there is a profile selected for the "persistent profile" option.  Otherwise, if persistent profile is set to "none," then I always get the left click and drag issue described here, and across many other forums.  Hope this helps!
