My cpu is i5-4460 and no i do not plan on overlocking anything.

Okay a few things:

1. I’m not sure whether your power supply is that good or not but I think it’s cutting a bit close (if I remember correctly I think Nvidia suggests 500w)

2. I’ve had the same cpu as you until like a month ago when I built by first pc and let me tell you, it bottlenecked the crap out of my 1080 so there’s another reason to upgrade your psu now

3. Take a look at this list and look for a decent power supply

Hope this helps

I think it's a little too risky. I would try getting something around 500-600 watts and decent quality.

Thanks for your input!
Checking the list i came across this one http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/elite-series/elite-power-v3-550w/
It's relatively cheap, i can get one 600w for 40$ close to where i live.
Would it be a sufficient power supply?

Unfortunately no as it’s the worst on the list that I linked you below and above in my reply. I suggest you stretch your budget a bit more for a better one around tier 3 or 2

Hmmm my bad, i misread it. I thought it was part of the V series as it was specified to be V3, but didn't notice that in fact it was a "Elite V3"
I'll keep searching, thanks!

Hello guys!

I've wanted to change my outdated card (750ti) for a 1070ti. Motherboard is compatible, but the only question is my PSU capable of handling it properly,

would love to hear your thoughts!

That looks old.
ANd pls don't save too much on the PSU as it can damage all the components, for obvious reasons.

Especially with a higher end Graphics card you should not save too much...

Depending on the Location, a good deal might be hard to find.

Do you mind telling us the Country youlive in and maybe a Link to one or two stores you know?
