I have a GTX 1080 SC and an 8700k CPU O.C. to 5.0 stable. But for some reason I get as stated in title tearing and random stutter while playing PUBG, I have tried pretty much everything I can find on google and YT and STILL have it. I have even tried Steam launch options that helps a little but doesnt get rid of all of it. Is there some sort of bottle necking going on that I dont know about or the game itself is the issue? All temps are good, I have a slight OC on my GPU as well +100 on core and +100 on memory using MSI Afterburner. My FPS in game is good thats why im scratching my head as to why? haha. Please any input or guidance will be greatly appreciated! Thank you and have a great day.

Doesnt sound like it, sounds like more of a PUBG issue.

Pubg is HORRIBLY optimized, dont expect good performance and such. This is where Gysnc and Freesync come in handy, with FPS between 30-80 it smoothens them out, especially with the dips you can get in PUBG and other similarly GARBAGE optimized titles (Ark Survival evolved, Etc)

Do you get this issue in other games too or only in PUBG?

If only in pubg then it is a pubg issue, the game is terribly optimized.

True.
